This is an open call for applications for 2 participants (residents and citizens) from Austria starting from 18 years old for a fully-funded Training Course in Santiago de Compostela, SPAIN from 17.10 (arrival day) to 22.10. 2022 (departure day).
A Training Course is a project where youth workers and youth leaders come together for several days to develop their competences (knowledge, skills, and attitudes) on a certain theme. The daily programme of the course is based on learning objectives and facilitated by experienced trainers. The training courses promote the initiative and creativity of participants and have a direct impact on their future youth work or youth policy activities, such as organising quality projects and providing intercultural and non-formal learning experiences for young people.
SUMMARY:
This call is particularly for the Training Course "Embrace Diversity" that will be implemented in Santiago de Compostela, Spain from 17.10 (arrival day) to 22.10. 2022 (departure day). This training brings together 25 youths from Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Turkey, Morocco, Poland, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany and the Netherlands. The main aim is to raise awareness about multiple forms of oppression women have to face, especially migrants, people with disabilities and LGBTIQ+.

OBJECTIVES:
Explore the multiple forms of discrimination of women, specially if they belong to a minority group.
Share inclusive methods and techniques in Youth Work with people in situation of/risk of social exclusion.
Collect good practices of inclusion with the partnership.
To disseminate the results of the mobility project on Social Media
PRACTICALITIES:
If you at least 18 years old and live in Austria and would like to participate in this youth exchange, please send an email with a brief introduction about you and your motivation for participation in this youth exchange to emotic.org@gmail.com AS SOON AS POSSIBLE;
Once accepted, you will transfer the administration fee of 30 Euros, then you should sign the participation agreement and fill in the application form;
Then you should buy your travel ticket in consultation with EMOTiC;
When it is time for the activity, you will travel together with the rest of the group from Austria;
The food and accommodation are fully covered. You will be staying in a shared room in a hotel. And the food will include all options.
After your return, you will be refunded the cost of the travel ticket.
