This is an open a call for applications for 4 participants (residents and citizens) from Austria between 18 and 30 years old for a fully-funded Training Course in Padua, Italy from 02.08 (arrival day) to 10.08 2022 (departure day).
A Training Course is a project where youth workers and youth leaders come together for several days to develop their competences (knowledge, skills, and attitudes) on a certain theme. The daily programme of the course is based on learning objectives and facilitated by experienced trainers. The training courses promote the initiative and creativity of participants and have a direct impact on their future youth work or youth policy activities, such as organising quality projects and providing intercultural and non-formal learning experiences for young people.
SUMMARY:
This call is particularly for the Training Course "Snap In Youth Empowerment" in Padua, Italy from Tuesday 2.8 (travel day) to Wednesday 10.08 2022 (return day). This training brings together 28 youths from many different countries: Austria, Italy, Armenia, Portugal, Georgia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ukraine. The main aim is to increase the competences and practices of young people related to the sphere of youth work, and encourage them to become exceptional community leaders by enhancing their youth leadership skills. The participants of the project will have an opportunity to learn about the essentials of youth work, project management and community development.
OBJECTIVES:
promote youth empowerment through non-formal educational methodology;
increase the competencies and practices of young people related to the sphere of youth work, and encourage them to become exceptional community leaders by enhancing their youth leadership skills;
learn about the essentials of youth work, project management and community development;
design own community project ideas, develop corresponding action plans and implement them in their communities as follow-up activities.
PRACTICALITIES:
If you are between 18 and 30 years old and live in Austria and would like to participate in this training course, please send an email with a brief introduction about you and your motivation for participation in this youth exchange to emotic.org@gmail.com AS SOON AS POSSIBLE;
Once accepted, you will transfer the administration fee of 30 Euros, then you should sign the participation agreement and fill in the application form;
Then you should buy your travel ticket in consultation with EMOTiC;
When it is time for the activity, you will travel together with the rest of the group from Austria;
The food and accommodation are fully covered. You will be staying in a shared room in a hotel.
After your return, you will be refunded the cost of the travel ticket.
